Letter from Lieut. David S. Jenkins, 57 Batt., World War I, to his mother, 13 May, 1918, England. Letter was written while D. S. Jenkins was at Officers' Training School in England. He describes the voyage to Liverpool and his present living conditions. Also postcard from George Jenkins, c. 1912-14, England; postcard was issued to raise funds for the survivors of S.S. Titanic and depicts the ship and captain plus words and music of "Nearer my God to thee"; Also photograph of Gartside family, c. 1905, including Mary and David Jenkins in front of picture.
